The Big Bill Foundation was established in 2021 to honor the legacy of Bill Robinson, co-founder of Fit2Run, who passed away in 2020 after battling leukemia. Bill Robinson was more than just a businessman, he was deeply committed to his community and to helping others succeed.
Today, that legacy continues through the Big Bill Foundation, created by his three sons to support young adults and children who have faced the challenge of childhood cancer. Through educational scholarships, the foundation celebrates students whose strength, perseverance, and determination inspire others.
Each recipient represents a story of resilience and hope, demonstrating that even through life’s greatest challenges, the human spirit can rise stronger than ever.

“Cancer did not define me, but it shaped me. It taught me strength, gratitude, faith, and compassion. Even on the days when healing feels slow, I continue forward with hope, trusting that my journey has meaning and that my future is still full of purpose.”
Lee Lyday
"My takeaway from my cancer journey is to never let anything or anyone take away the things you find joy in because no matter the situation, you can always rediscover happiness in the things you thought you lost."
Jordyn Gourley

"Through my journey, I've learned that resilience isn't about being extraordinary but about finding the strength within oneself to endure hardships without giving up."
