Product FAQs

WHAT IS THE NEW BALANCE FUELCELL SUPERCOMP ELITE V5 BEST USED FOR?

The SC Elite v5 is designed for road racing and high-speed workouts, making it ideal for distances ranging from 10K to the marathon.

HOW DOES THE SC ELITE V5 COMPARE TO THE SC ELITE V4?

The v5 is lighter, more aggressive, and more performance-focused than the v4, with a redesigned midsole and carbon plate geometry that create a faster and more responsive ride.

WHAT MAKES ENERGY ARC TECHNOLOGY UNIQUE?

Energy Arc combines a carbon fiber plate with a curved midsole and hollow channel that compresses under load and rebounds during toe-off, helping generate more propulsion with each step.

IS THE SC ELITE V5 GOOD FOR TRAINING RUNS?

It can handle tempo runs and race-pace workouts, but many runners prefer to save it for races or key speed sessions because it’s optimized for performance.

DOES THE SC ELITE V5 FIT TRUE TO SIZE?

Most runners report that the SC Elite v5 fits true to size with a secure midfoot and moderate toe-box volume for race-day comfort.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO MAKE SURE IT FITS COMFORTABLY?

Measure your feet at the end of the day when they’re at their largest. Leave about a thumb’s width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe, and ensure the heel feels secure without slipping. Trying the shoe with race-day socks will help dial in the best fit.
